The survey is opening soon; businesses can register at https://lincolnshire.ai/state-of-ai/. It closes on 31 December 2026. Everyone who takes part gets the report in the first week of February 2027, before public release. The survey asks about: - Awareness: How well businesses understand what AI can do for firms like theirs. - Current use: Whether AI is in use at all, and if so, in which parts of the business. - Barriers: The single biggest thing holding businesses back, and how confident teams feel about skills. - Priorities: The outcomes that would matter most, and how high AI sits on the agenda for the next year. - Support: The kind of outside help that would genuinely be useful, if any. - Your own words: The one thing that would make AI genuinely useful to your business next year. Results are published only as combined figures. A business is named only if it asks to be listed as a contributor. ## About Lincolnshire.AI A Lincoln-based organisation founded by Tony Grant. The State of AI for Lincolnshire Business 2027 is an independent report, run by Lincolnshire.AI, on how businesses across Greater Lincolnshire are engaging with AI: where they are today, what is holding them back and where the opportunities lie. It is based on a short survey that closes on 31 December 2026. ### Who can take part in the survey? Any small or medium-sized business in Lincolnshire can take part, whether it uses AI every day or not at all. Our main focus is businesses with 10 to 150 paid employees, but we will not turn anyone away. ### How long does the survey take? About 5 minutes. There are up to 17 short questions. The first five are required and you can skip any of the rest. ### When will the report be published? The survey closes on 31 December 2026. The report is sent to everyone who took part in the first week of February 2027, before it is released publicly. ### Is the survey a sales pitch? No. It is research, and there is no hard sell. A few optional questions ask what kind of help would be useful, and the last one asks whether you would like to hear from us. Say no and you will not. ### Will my answers be kept private? Yes. Results are published only as combined figures.
